Eastwood City: Truly State-of-the-Art

Eastwood City: Truly State-of-the-Art

One of the most popular neighborhood hangouts of Manila’s ruling elite, the 16-hectare Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City offers great shopping, dining, and nightlife experiences. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, it’s difficult to ignore this posh community.  Major annual events such as the New Year countdown and Octoberfest, a monthlong beer festival, are held here.

Eastwood City has three signature attractions: Eastwood Mall, Eastwood Citywalk, and Eastwood Cyberpark and Fashion Mall.

Below, we’ve listed some of the things you can see and enjoy in this bustling, hi-tech neighborhood.

State-of-the-Art IT Center

Eastwood City, a hub of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in the country, is known for its 10 call centers located inside the Eastwood Cyberpark and numerous corporate offices ranging from research and development companies to electronic and power companies. Significantly, Eastwood Cyberpark, which provides 30,000 jobs to mostly Filipinos, is an accredited IT center by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

Shopper’s Paradise

With mixed items of local and international brands, shoppers can choose anything that suits their specific needs.

Plus in Eastwood Mall, there are butlers that can help you with your shopping bags and personal belongings, making your shopping experience not just fun, but also hassle-free.

Its cinemas are fully carpeted with cozy interiors and fully reclining seats. Cinemas 5, 6, and 7, in particular, even offer refillable popcorn and bottomless drinks.

Eastwood Mall also offers a nice dining experience for shoppers as there are lots of upscale restaurants serving different cuisines and food specialities. Fill your taste buds with luscious food creations in one of signature restaurants here; you can also choose al fresco dining if you want a more relaxing ambiance.

Lastly, if you want to buy the latest gadgets and appliances, simply head out to Eastwood Cyberpark and Fashion Mall.

Partying Your Way

For nocturnals, Eastwood Citywalk is the ideal place.  Most party animals hang out here because of its trendy bars, loud music, cold beer, and live bands.

If you want to throw a private party, you can book a VIP lounge.  But if you want to just relax and chill out with friends over bottles of beer, then the al fresco bars are just perfect for you.

Interestingly, if you’re a PC gaming enthusiast who doesn’t mind staying up ‘til the morning to play games, then Station 168, where (Defence of the Ancients) DOTA aficionados throw Local Area Network (LAN) parties, is the place for you.

Another type of party that happens in Eastwood City is “spa-rty,” a pun for spa party.  If you love to relax and have a sound sleep later, you can take your friends in one of the spas here to hold a “spa-rty.” For an extraordinary spa experience, visit Big Apple Express Spa, which is the first authentic fish spa in the country.

Residential Skyscrapers

What’s more attractive in Eastwood City is its multitude of residential skyscrapers.  Who wouldn’t want to live in a cozy, entertaining neighborhood?

If you got a job in Eastwood City, consider buying a property here.  You don’t have to drive far to reach your office in the morning or your favorite restaurant in the evening. With all those high-rise condos, along with their state-of-the-art amenities, it won’t be too hard to choose the perfect one for you.
