Manila, Philippines—Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) and educational partner De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new DLSZ-Vermosa campus set to open next year.

Held at ALI’s fourth largest estate development, the 700-hectare Vermosa estate in Imus, Cavite, the ceremony was led by ALI CEO and President Bernard Vincent Dy, ALI Senior Vice President and Strategic Landbank Management Group Head Anna Ma. Margarita Dy, and DLSZ President Br. Bernard Oca, FSC.

“We’re pleased to have a DLSZ school inside Vermosa.  This will make modern educational facilities and methods accessible to families living in Cavite.  The campus complements the estate’s diverse residential and commercial offerings and is an important part of a greater vision to build sustainable communities and enrich lives,” said Mr. Dy.

DLSZ-Vermosa will build three primary school zones—academic, sports, and cultural zones—and different modern facilities such as smart classrooms, laboratories, and faculty centers. Inside the academic zone are the administration building, middle (junior) and senior high school halls, and the Spark Building.

Other facilities include a premium sports complex—with an FIFA-certified track oval and football field—and a performing arts theatre.
