Manila, Philippines–A huge arts and crafts event titled “Art Exchange” (#ArtExchangeManila) will be held at Greenbelt 5’s The Gallery from Wednesday, April 19, to next Tuesday, April 25, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The highly anticipated event, organized by The Craft Central, aims to gather artists, crafters, and art enthusiasts to join its capsule art workshops such as basic calligraphy, lettering, and watercolor techniques, and free demonstrations.  “Art Exchange” will also feature a bazaar and an art exhibit, which highlights the new online art gallery FilipinoArt.ph, for everyone to enjoy!

In a soft-launch mode, FilipinoArt.ph intends to showcase up-and-coming Filipino artists and their artworks, particularly visual artists from Far Eastern University-Manila Beth Celeste, Geremy Samala, Glenn Lui Pucio, Pope Castro, and Victor Raymundo whose painting named “Oras” (on canvas acrylic) will be physically on display at “Art Exchange.”

With new entries every quarter, besides painting and mixed media, the website will also feature sculptures and photographs.

Made possible by online property search portal PropertyAsia.ph, the website encourages Filipino homeowners and art lovers to support young Filipino artists by buying their original or printed artworks.

Be creative this summer! Join the week-long “Art Exchange” at Greenbelt 5!
