Manila, Philippines—Thailand’s Hop Inn, whose first hotel branch in the country was launched in Ermita, Manila last December 2016, has opened its second branch in Poblacion, Makati City. The Hop Inn brand appeals to the budget-conscious travelers.

Amid a convenient location, near the Makati Central Business district, as well as various shopping, dining, and entertainment establishments, Hop Inn in Makati has 144 air-conditioned rooms, which come with a free high-speed Wi-Fi access, cable TV, hot and cold shower, workstation, hair dryer, and other room extras.

Its minimalist white and light blue-colored rooms have more than enough space to accommodate two persons and their luggage. Its bright and clean bathrooms are equally spacious, too. Its housekeeping team makes sure all their guests come home to tidy rooms with fresh linens at the end of each day.

The Hop Inn chain, now with 26 hotels in Thailand and two in the Philippines, prides itself on providing a high standard of security. A secure key card access to rooms and elevators, an in-room safe deposit box, and a round-the-clock security and CCTV make for a safe and serene stay for the guests.

The Erawan Group Public Company Limited (Grand Hyatt, Courtyard Marriott-Bangkok) is behind the Hop Inn brand.

The company eyes to open three more branches in the metro next year: in Aseana, Pasay City, Alabang, and Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
