Macau—Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, a developer, owner, and operator of casino gaming and entertainment casino resort facilities, announced recently the launch of NÜWA, its new luxury hotel brand.

NÜWA will debut in Macau and Manila on January 16, 2018, which will replace the Crown Towers Hotels in the company’s flagship development, City of Dreams.

Inspired by the heroine from Chinese mythology, NÜWA represents classic Asian refinement.  The new brand further exemplifies Melco’s core mission to continue providing a better guest experience. It’s  the company’s first step in the preparation for the launch of phase III of City of Dreams in Macau this year.

Mr. Lawrence Ho, chairman and chief executive officer of Melco Resorts and Entertainment said, “We’re excited to introduce NÜWA. The new hotel brand embodies the very essence of Melco’s pursuit to provide our guests the very best in sophistication, quality, and innovation.”

In the Philippines, a Philippine subsidiary of Melco currently operates and manages City of Dreams Manila, a casino, hotel, retail, and entertainment-integrated resort located in Parañaque City.
