Manila, Philippines—Two of the main events at the World Building and Construction Expo (WorldBex) this year are the “Architect’s Gallery” and the “City of Tomorrow” exhibit.  Supporting this year’s theme “Shaping Innovations Toward Sustainability,” these main events showcase how sustainable and innovative practices are incorporated in various building and construction designs.

Throughout the five-day expo (March 14-18 at the SMX Convention Center), attendees are encouraged to visit the “Architect’s Gallery,” where top Filipino architects, along with their design firms, are allotted spaces to display their latest design concepts. These architects will also give free consultations.

The Angeles Architectural Studio, Jagnus Design Studio, Buensalido Architects, Arco Group, Carunungan and Partners, Delab Collaborative, ES Prints, WTA, Primea Group, Jonathan Gan, Edward Co Tan Architects, Oyek Designs, and UO2 are expected to participate.

Integral to the “Architect’s Gallery” is the “City of Tomorrow” exhibit, which features some of the Philippines’ best architects and their futuristic structural design models.

Collectively, these design models, which include the Delab Collaborative Inc.’s holographic display and Jaro Class Solutions and K Plast’s glass house spectacle, will be part of a scale model exhibition of an imagined metropolis.
