Manila, Philippines—Megaworld, one of the country’s leading developers of integrated urban townships, is speeding up its developments inside the 12.3-hectare Arcovia City along C-5 in Pasig City. Since 2015, the company has allocated P35 billion to develop Arcovia City whose centerpiece is the Arco de Emperador, a 62-feet high arch monument designed by Spanish artist Gines Serran-Pagan.

Inside this township, the company is now simultaneously building its first office tower, the 17-story One Paseo, which has 23,000 square meters of leasable office spaces, and a lifestyle mall that has its own walk parks, leisure facilities, and a viewing deck.

Megaworld will also build the 37-story residential development Avenue de Triomphe, which has 576 spacious residential units ranging from studio (up to 32.5 square meters); one-bedroom (up to 63 square meters); two-bedroom (up to 110.5 square meters), and 3-bedroom units (up to 154 square meters).  At 18 Avenue de Triomphe, the residents will be able to enjoy the views of nearby Eastwood City, Ortigas Center, and Bonifacio Global City.

The 18 Avenue de Triomphe will be completed in 2023.

“Our vision for this new township is to inspire the young generation to persevere and work harder to attain their own successes and victories in life. There is a deeper story embedded into this development, and we will tell that story through the installations and attractions around the township,” says Megaworld Senior Vice President Kevin Tan.

Besides the arch monument, the company is also growing at least 1,000 Narra trees, which will serve as natural shades to the surroundings.
