Batangas, Philippines—Century Properties Group has announced that it has presold 342 vacation homes worth P2 billion at Batulao Artscapes, its first residential tourism project in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Launched last December, Batulao Artscapes offers approximately 2,000 homes within the first 36 hectares of the 142-hectare development.

The development has attracted local homebuyers who are seeking for a weekend retreat, as well as active retirees who are looking for secondary homes surrounded by nature and a cooler climate, according to Tim Hallett, president of Century Properties Leisure and Hospitality Inc.

“This community is the first of its kind in the market. We are excited to bring something that combines art, nature, and adventure into this beautiful out-of-town property. We are optimistic of the market’s continuous positive response to the project given the expanding middle class and surge of domestic tourism in the Philippines,” Hallett said.

The Batulao Artscapes features designer homes by the global property technology firm Revolution Precrafted, along with notable designers such as Ed Calma, Kenneth Cobonpue, Budji Layug. Royal Pineda, Daphne Guinness, and Studio Libeskind Design.

Completing the development are vacation amenities, which include a man-made beach with a clubhouse, a lake with a charming wedding chapel, a sports park, and an art park with pocket museums.
