Pampanga, Philippines—Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has signed a lease agreement with ISOC Holdings Inc. to develop a seven-hectare sustainable and energy-efficient resort-entertainment complex in the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, which covers parts of Pampanga and Tarlac.

A P6-billion investment, Isoc Holdings’ planned resort-entertainment complex, designed by Aidea Design, will have hotels, offices, serviced condominiums, and retail establishments, among others.

“What we envision for the project is a sustainable and energy-efficient development plan. We don’t want to alter the environment drastically but we want to blend it with our design,” said Aidea Design lead architect Ricardo Reyes.

ISOC Holdings Chairman Michael Cosiquien concurred: “We see this project as a showpiece for ISOC’S very strong push towards environmental sustainability where we will maximize the natural attributes and resources of the property and incorporate them in the design, flow, construction, and use of building and facilities.”

The project will also complement the various developments in Clark Freeport: “There’s a growing demand for more lodging facilities and corresponding amenities within a carefully-planned community that ushers in a new, unique, and distinctive lifestyle. This undertaking augurs well in the overall development blueprint for Clark that would redound to a greater benefit for the region,” said CDC President and CEO Noel Manankil.
