Cavite, Philippines – Township developer Megaworld and its subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts Inc (GERI) are jointly developing the 251-hectare property Arden Botanical Estate located at the boundary of Trece Martires City and the municipality of Tanza in Cavite.

Megaworld and GERI are allocating about P18 billion in the next 15 years for the development.

Surrounded by natural rivers and organic gardens, Arden Botanical Estate, will have several residential and leisure villages, a mixed-use commercial district, sports and adventure parks, and a variety of gardens and natural parks.

Further, the development will have a flower farm, flower tunnel, and children’s garden.

From the township’s entrance along Governor’s Drive in Trece Martires City, a six-lane avenue leads to the Welcome Pavilion and the Town Center, which will be surrounded by arcaded and alfresco commercial areas. The township will also have its own ‘Electric Tram’ that brings passengers from the township entrance to the Town Center, and vice versa.

In a statement, Megaworld Chief Strategy Officer Kevin Tan said: “Arden Botanical Estate is a one-of-a-kind township development, which will be curated to engage and stimulate the senses. We will put design and aesthetics at the forefront, and function and purpose at the backbone of its planning.”

Aside from the generous open and green spaces around the development, Arden Botanical Estate will also push for other sustainability features such as the use of solar streetlights, electric shuttles for transport, stormwater recycling, permeable pavements for driveways and parking, and organic fertilizers and pesticides for gardens.
