Parañaque City in Metro Manila has a total land area of 47.28 km2 and about 665,882 residents whose original source of living were fishing, rice planting, salt making, weaving, and shoemaking. Parañaque City was one of the first municipalities during the American occupation. Today it is a highly urbanized city. Many tourists visit this place to see its beautiful attractions and take pleasure in the various activities that the city provides.
The major shopping malls in Parañaque City are SM City Bicutan, SM City Sucat, and SM City Parañaque. Other shopping centers include Pergola Lifestyle Mall, Robinson's, Waltermart, and Jaka Plaza. Parañaque is also home to a myriad restaurants and foodie spots that offer different specialties and cuisines. Some of these restaurants include The Tasting Room, The Café, Yakumi, Red Ginger, Red Lantern, Little Quiapo Restaurant, Katsu Sora, Cafe Mary Grace, and Crystal Dragon. For people who want to save but still want to satisfy their taste buds, they can visit Bono Tei, Café IF, Jang Ga Nae, Tito Chef, Ritchie's Diner, Kuya J, Garage 88, and Pastaroni.
Nights are often busy in Parañaque from night bars to nightclubs. For people who want the Filipino vibe, Bahay Kubo Din (BKD) Grill is ideal. For those who love Irish bars, Mulligan's Irish Gastro Pub is the place to be; this bar has live bands and Irish drinks that are way cheaper than other bars in Metro Manila. Another extraordinary nightspot is the Vapor Hookah Lounge; besides its variety of bar chows and liquor, the bar features hookah smoking and offers different flavors of shisha.
Many people choose to invest in house and lots in Parañaque City because its location is perfectly safe and peaceful. Some even prefer residential areas near the shopping malls and entertainment spots so they can easily kill time during the days when they have nothing to do at home.
