The Year of the Red Fire Monkey, which is brimming with all-around strength and determination, begins this year, on February 8, and will end next year, on January 27.

Red Fire Monkeys are very effective at goal-setting, but they always want to control and dominate every situation.

In your homes and business offices, according to Feng Shui Consultant Susan Levitt, bring in good luck by cleaning your front door entry. “Wash, sweep, or vacuum the front steps, porch, entry hall, lobby—whatever the entry is where you live [or work]. Make this area clean, well-lit, and inviting.  Check the lighting fixtures, make sure the doorbell works, and touch up scuff marks with a fresh coat of paint, or add a new rug to welcome the New Year.”

Ms Levitt adds, “…But the most important room this year is your living room because that is the room of the element Fire, and 2016 is the year of the Fire Monkey.  Fix your living room, a major yang room.  Start by standing at the entry of your living room…”
